Privacy
A camera. Not a cloud.
Snap Photography is an independent camera app for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. It drives the Fusion Main mechanical iris, shutter, and ISO on device. Photographs are not sold, not used to train a model, and not sent to an identification API.
What the app collects
Nothing for advertising. PrivacyInfo declares no collected data types and tracking is off. UserDefaults stores local preferences (finder overlays, last program) on the device.
- No account is required to shoot.
- No analytics SDK.
- Not directed at children under 13.
Permissions
Snap asks for the hardware a camera needs, and says why:
- Camera — to drive the Fusion Main iris, shutter, and ISO so you can make photographs Camera.app will not.
- Microphone — spatial audio with 4K video.
- Photo Library — save iris-bracket sequences; read mechanical aperture metadata on negatives.
- Motion — gyro for the live horizon level in the viewfinder.
Refuse any of them and that feature stays off. The rest of the finder still runs.
Photographs
Captures live in your photo library and in Snap’s on-device Negatives shelf. Telemetry (iris, shutter, ISO, lens, program, white balance) is written next to the file on the phone. Watch preview JPEGs stay on the paired devices via WatchConnectivity. Nothing is uploaded by the app.

The marketing site does not set advertising cookies. The TestFlight request form sends the app name, “iOS”, and the email you type so we can add you to the tester list. That mail goes to the inbox we use for Snap apps. You can also email admin@snapcollectibles.com directly.
